In 1960, JFK did the same thing...my Catholic grade school walked a couple of blocks to wave...JFK stopped and shook our hands....a little down the road a wedding at yet another Catholic Church was just getting over and the bride and groom were running the guantlet from the rice throwers to their limo...JFK got out to kiss the bride....will never forget as long as I live..

You are right about that! I'll never forget the day I shook hands with President Reagan as a Cub Scout. It really did change me.
