A U.S. Marine deployed to Haiti had a tearful reunion Tuesday with the mother he hadn’t seen since leaving the country 11 years ago, The (New York) Daily News reported Wednesday.

Cpl. Harry Milbin is one of 400 Marines sent to stabilize Haiti and was guarding Toussaint L’Ouverture Airport when a woman carrying a picture of him talked her way into the airport, the report said.

And when she saw her son standing on the runway, she couldn’t speak, and tears poured from her eyes.

“Don’t cry, don’t cry,” Milbin, 28, reportedly said in Creole, touching her face and her hair. “I’m here, nothing is going to happen to you.”

“I can’t believe you are here,” said his mother, Josette Dinis.

Dozens of smiling Marines in full combat gear stopped to watch the pair.

The last time Dinis, 54, saw her son was when she took him to the same airport in 1993 and said goodbye, the Daily News reports. She sent him to live with his father in Brooklyn, because she couldn’t afford to raise him.

Finances have kept the two apart. Dinis couldn’t get to America, not even for Milbin’s wedding. And she’s missed the birth of her three grandchildren.

Milbin couldn’t afford the trip to Haiti.

“I never had enough money to try to come here,” said Milbin, who is scheduled to go to Iraq in September. “But I had been saving and was planning to come before September.”

THIS STORY IS ALL WRONG. I KNOW THE AMERICAN MILITARY. LET ME CORRECT THIS! HERE IS THE "REAL" STORY:

The U.S. Marines were deployed to Haiti for no good reason.

Cpl. Harry Milbin is one of 400 Marines sent to kill women and children.

The son shot his mother with a .50 caliber machine gun then cut her ears off.

Milbin, 28, killed numerous babies by setting their houses on fire after killing their parents in a fire free zone

Dozens of smiling Marines in full combat gear stopped to shoot as many people as they could.

There, now that's the real story!

Signed,

John F-ing Kerry

That's a heck of a way to get a reunion with your mom! It's good she could see her son.

Great Americans served in military. Kerry is nothing of them. Many great Americans has died to fight for freedom. This kangaroo needs to be slap with reality show. I want to see media expose him for who he is a total flip flopping liberal. That is a dream as you know media is in bed with liberals.

You're right, it IS beauiful.

What mother wouldn't be proud of a son who returned home as a rescuer and defender.

What country wouldn't be proud of helping to contribute to such a happy surpries ?
