If Bush wants to make people aware then he should talk about the dangers of terrorism, the costs that we have paid and what the hell we are doing about it. He would be doing himself a favor by playing up how Clinton left us defenseless, how terrorism was plotted during Bill's reign and how Clinton's supposed moral code precluded us from taking the steps that we needed to in order to prevent terrorism.

And exactly how would he do that without mentioning 9-11?
