See, according to the leftist eco-freak, it takes ten acres to support each human if the human consumes meat, but only half an acre if the human subsists on grains. So meat is ecologically inefficient.
So each of us should be a good little eco-freak and subsist on shredded recycled newspaper or whatever else they say is good for the environment this week, instead of just spending our own money to go out and buy whatever we want and whatever we feel is best for us.
You see, they really know what is best for the World. If that's not also best for you, individually, that's too darn bad. They have the rest of the Planet to think about!
