I have noticed some southerners have an affinity for the Confederate Battle Flag but the official Flag of the Confederacy is almost unknown to them.

I have also noted that some southerners whine like liberal crybabies when their flag is taken away. Why is it that way. The law is the law and people should follow the law. One guy above me said i was a tyrant for saying people should follow the law. I guess when people have their toys taken away they also lose their logic and common sense. Next thing you know I will say people shouldn't drink and drive and I'll be called Un-American.

Actually, the flag most people think of as the 'Cofederate Battle Flag' is actually the Confederate Navy Jack. But your point is well taken. Seems this new flag is just as much a symbol of the confederacy as the old- if not more.
