I meant in general. Generally speaking, it is important for a president's supporters to communicate to him what they want on a constant basis.

In fact, it is important now, because he may very well lose this election, especially if he doesn't veto the weapons bill, but I'm not sure. I really can't tell from here. What do you think?

It's clear that many of his supporters have deserted him, at least on FR, which is disheartening, to say the least.

I strongly feel that our best bet is with the current president, for many reasons, one of which is the way he's dealt with the war on terror.

To bring a Democrat into office at this time, especially a hollow shell such as Kerry, would be a terrible mistake. The man is clearly not up to defending us against an enemy he doesn't believe exists.

Exactly. People better remember this, when they are voting.

I think people who bash Bush here NEVER supported him in the first place. They are the ones who voted for Buchanan or stayed home and almost gave us Gore in 200, and voted for Perot or stayed home and gave us 8 years of Clinton. They never were Bush's "base". They are just the permanent whiners, who try to run the country by the "tyranny of the minority", and keep being useful idiots for the Democrats.
