You'd be surprised. A Democrat could do irreparable damage by helping to pass laws that guarantee safe passage, protection and free medical care.

Things are bad, but they could be worse.

Add homosexual marriage, even worse molly coddling of criminals, giving up sovereignty to the UN, complete capitulation to fanatic Islamicists, appointing 3 more Liberals to the Supreme Court and even more power to the Marxist teachers' unions, and I think you've got something there.
