Our university isn't as active with the other colleges since we're much futher away, so I'm hoping that getting representation from our campus will help to unite the three state colleges.

You might want to contact Mike Adams. He writes a column for Townhall.com and is a WONDERFUL person who is helping college Republicans. He's a former Atheist Democrat turned Christian, Conservative, Republican. He's young, a professor at UNC-Wilmington in NC and he's helping college Republicans make a difference and helping them to be able to discuss their faith on campus, like all the evil groups get to do.

Here in NC, they want to allow anything and everything on campus and the school supports it, but not if you're Republican or Christian. He's fighting hard to make a difference for us.

I met him at a function I attended and he was the guest speaker. You are in for a TREAT, if you can get him to come to your school. He didn't have a business card (had given out) with him at the time I met him, but I'm sure you can contact him via Townhall.com. His speaking isn't restricted to NC.

Thank you for that information. I'll look him up this weekend, and bring it up at our next meeting on Monday.

Our campus is very liberal. I think more so than the other two. We're up in the mountains with all the forests and tree huggers. But our group is growing. We started with about 12 consistant members, and now we're up to 20, with five to seven that come when they have the time. I think last year they only had about seven or eight that came all the time.
