Every politician needs to be on the receiving end of a spotlight now and then. Their actions need examination and their motives need to be analyzed. Dana Rohrabacher has been overdue for a little bright light and Bob Dornan put him there like no one else could.
I love every idiosyncratic bone in Bob Dornan's body. There are men for times of peace and there are men for times of war. We need a few more like Bob Dornan right now.
They might embarrass you when the moment calls for tact but when the chips are down and your side needs to play or fold you know that men with backbone like Dornan will take the heat, stand up, and play. You know which side they're on and you know they'll be there when they're needed, not off playing CYA.
I was glad to see Dornan on the stage again and I hope we haven't seen the last of him.
From Bob Dornan's website:
"...For over thousand years marauding Islamic warriors tried to conquer the known world. Then in 1683 A.D. after a two month siege of Vienna with the conquest of all Europe in the balance, Polish Calvary led by a 72 year old prince destroyed the Muslim forces on "September 11th". Osama picked that very date to strike America 318 years later. For three centuries the Muslim's assaults were bloody but confined to piracy, the Balkans and genocide of 1,500,000 Armenians while Europe typically turned its back. Now starting in the 1980's with increasing ferocity the dark side of Islamic expansionism has returned with a jealous vengeance and gone inter-continental..."

This is the sort of hyperbolic crap that Dornan gins up. The date of September 11 wasn't chosen because of some obscure historical reasoning. It was chosen because of scheduling. It was the best day to coordinate the Washington and New York attacks.
