Sadly it's getting worse. The illegals here in CA (& nationwide) continue to drain our social resources. The numbers are frightening and no one in the media is talking about it. A friend of mine (with medical insurance mind you) went to emergency with her daughter (7 years) and was waiting to be treated for a head wound for almost two hours. In the meantime, two non-english speaking illegal families with MANY kids came in were UNinsured but were immediately given PRIORITY over my friend who was frantic about her daughters questionable wounds. Can you believe how wrong and backwards this is? She was livid! Very sad.
