How is it looking down there? I am continually disappointed with Louisiana. I get hope that the Rs will grab a Senate seat or the Governorship and suddenly the D comes out of nowhere. Will they keep the R seats in R hands in congress or will there be a flip? Also will Bush carry Louisiana this time around (just curious)

New Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco yesterday joined Senators John Breaux and Mary Landrieu in endorsing the "second JFK" for president.
Blanco's original mentor in LA politics was former Senator J. Bennett Johnston, Jr., another strong backer of the MA liberal senator. Kerry will now be essentially unopposed in the LA Democrat presidential primary on March 9, a primary open only to registered Democrats.
LA could be a former Bush state that trends for the new JFK.
