Actually, I used a toned-down red hue and that's the way it looks on my monitor at home as well as here at work on a new Dell. Anyone else see "bright" red?

Did you click on the flag? That's actually a pretty good midi version of our National Anthem.

It's dark red to me here at work and at home, and I do not have a biased opinion..

The background appears as a very attractive dark red on my screen, too.

Not I. It is a deep, rich red. Very nice with the navy and muted gold. Looks great. :-)

Oh yes, it's a nice deep/complex red. I'd still call it "bright" but it's very pleasing and I see the blue undertones. It's very nice.
