Bush is in the uneviable position of having to beat both Kerry and the press. Kerry will get the kid glove treatment and Bush will get hammered, day in day out.
But in the end, the American public will come to see Kerry as they did Gore - pompous, ponderous, and hypocritical. This will happen in the debates IMO, just as it did with Gore.

I think you're exactly right and I'm still in shock that J "Effin" K has expressed such vitriolic statements toward our President. I do think it is true that Kerry was a nobody until he adopted Dean's forked tounge and revisionist history of his very own biography and voting record. I can't wait and I'm trying not to lick my chops until his (Kerry's) story is truthfully told.
