Last session the Fairtax had only 7 co-sponsors, and no sister bill in the Senate, This congressional session it has 43 Co-sponsors, and has been introduced in the Senate along with an ever growing list of both new Senate as well as House prospective candidates up and coming.

Not with the present dolts we have in office. To make matters worse it won't/hasn't mattered who was controlling Congress, Senate or The White house. Why hell, if they actually did something logical then they wouldn't have anything to run for office on. They know that taxes control us and until we get rid of the UNCONSTITUTIONAL income tax and the effing IRS nothing, and i mean NOTHING will ever happen as far as a "Fair Tax", PERIOD.

I don't expect anything like it to pass in my lifetime and I expect to live at least another 40 years.
