Actually, according to Brit Hume .. it was KERRY who suggested to Bush that they stick to the issues.
In other words, Kerry is afraid of Bush!

Bush Translation: "If your DNC and liberal media goons bring up some baseless B.S. about me, you're gonna pay."

According to what I heard on FOX News it was JFKerry that wanted "focus on the issues and have a clean campaign."
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
I certainly hope Bush doesn't try to see into Kerry's soul.

I'd say it's too late now....they've been hard at work trying to make Bush look bad. It's time the Democrats get a little of what they have been dishing out.

What the **** did Bush call Kerry for? Kerry hasn't said one nice thing about Bush.
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
It is a set up. Bush, like his dad, can play nice. RAT surrogates such as moveon will tell vicious lies about the president using Soros' money. They need to be treated like terrorists. It is a war against the DemocRATS.

I wouldn't trust Bush if I were bush!! I wouldn't trust either one of them...or any other pol either.

If true, it was a very bad move on Bush's part. He's been hammered by F-ing Kerry for months with lies and falsehoods by Kerry and his operatives. Does Bush really think that Kerry will now turn over a new leaf? We all can give the president countless net sites exposing Kerry as the lying liberal that he is. That the president would choose this tack is utterly bewildering to me.
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
I would say that in the modern world a soft warning from Bush carries a lot of weight.
