For uninitiated, The Illinois Leader is an online, conservative daily, with a focus on Illinois politics. The have been doing their endorsement of a GOP US senate candidate survivor style, each couple of days snuffing out a torch belonging to one in a field of 8 contenders.
It got down to the final two over this past weekend. Yesterday they snuffed Jack Ryan, which is interesting for two reasons: 1) Ryan has leading all polls and 2) the owner of the Illinois Leader is also paid consultant to Ryan's campaign -- go figure.
