here ... "Mars Rover Opportunity Makes 'Significant' Finding"
In a small patch of Martian soil, scientists see spheres and fragmented pebbles, sand grains and finer material, and a range of colors suggesting different compositions.
What are those 2 things that show some linear pattern at the top right of the photo?

Looks like a trilobite to me. Of course, I could be reading things into the picture given that I WANT to find fossils. I would entertain other explanations if anyone has any.

Reminds me of some trilobyte shapes I saw througout
the Burgess shale in British Columbia.

One of the scientists saying that there are lifeforms that could live off of the sulfur found in the rocks and even hibernate during long dry periods.

AGAIN.,..I'd bet the house it is a Trilobite fossil and I think NASA knows damn well it is but elitism wins and they keep it to themselvs.
