On March 2 1836 The Declaration of Texas Independence was presented.It was written virtually overnight as the Battle of the Alamo was going on.

Thanks for the Texas Independence Day posts, Meg and Drew's Dad - I'm Texan, too, but figured there would be many other threads devoted to that today, and not everyone here is from Texas, believe it or not! LOL!

The March Calendar is just silly stuff, DD - sometimes we're serious, sometimes we're silly. Today we're silly. :)
