It's dead. The bill that went through the amendment process, with much angst expressed on this board (some angst expressed by moi), has been soundly defeated, 8-90. CLearly, some Senators that were for extending the AWB were against the combination of extending the AWB and providing statutory immunity to firearms manufacturers. Soem Senators are cynically putting temselves on both sides of the issue.

I wonder if perhaps a lot of last minute calls/emails might've swayed some opinions too. If so, I am thankful to everyone who did, and to God too for this.
