I believe that the investigators all belonged to the Naval Investigative Service, and that their report has disappeared. I've seen no reference to any other refutation of the WSI.

Read Burkett's Stolen Valor. He did a private investigation and determined that many of the WSI participants were phonies.

As I understand, Burkett did not investigate any of the WSI witnesses, rather he referred to Lewy, who claimed to either have seen a NIS report or have been briefed on its contents.

A spokesman for the NIS has said that they are looking for the report, which means we don't have it yet and can't really use it.
