Treatment of the Jews in Babylon

Yeah, it's as if the descendants of those who committed what we would now call human rights abuses have conveniently forgotten what happened, how the Jews wound up in Babylon, and how the Israelite tribes wound up settled on the frontiers of the Assyrian empire.

A friend of mine pointed out that the time before Islam is referred to as "the time of ignorance". That doesn't mean that people then were ignorant, but rather that Moslems should remain ignorant of what went on. :')
