This is so obviously a parody of current events, I'm suprised so many people took it seriously. Yes, Kerry has said he wants to "repair America's image", etc. He's definitely not going to abandon the war on terror - that's Insight's misleading tabloid-style headline.

This isn't a parody and he said it and I watched part of it on CSpan(I think). yes it was 12/03/2003 and the link is down to capacity limits.
