So what was picked up btw Scott and McAllister was so minimal as to be of no consequence, says the court?

Sounds like Scott, like a lot of that type of defendants, was not coming clean with his attorney.

Let's assume that Scott did it. (I know that's a stretch...) It's possible that even now, at this moment, he has not admitted his true actions to his attorneys! If that is the case, he has really handicapped his attorneys, depriving them of a close account of WHAT REALLY HAPPENED.

It sounded to me like the judge took the prosecution's word that they didn't listen to the tapes they discovered were between Scott and his lawyer.

Imagine that -- gentlemen acting like gentlemen!

Wiretapping is used routinely, crooks and killers have conversations with their lawyers. And honest police forces obey the law, both it's letter and it's intent.

These things have been worked out before in many cases. Geragos acts like these investigations were the first time anyone has ever been disbelieved, tailed and checked out by the cops.

This judge seems calm and sensible, not letting Geragos get him flustered. Geragos will go on like 'a ass' selling Scott and the Petersons his snake oil, causing more anquish for the Rochas, but in the end being 'full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.'

(He's full of other stuff too, but Jim doesn't want us to type that.)

This defense is continuing to go nowhere fast, and Geragos is wasting TONS of $$$$, not just the Peterson's, but the taxpayers' too, IMHO.
