Yes and ELH was transported there as soon as the trial
was over.
BTW until about 1960 or so Yazoo County had it's
own execution chamber in the old County Jail
where they "HUNG" the likes of ELH.
Too bad they couldn't have just walked him across the street
and had the funeral today.
