This is not namecalling. Bastard is a status, a legal status. "Born out of wedlock" is gibberish.

It is not settling for PC dogma that no matter whether parents are married.

IMO, it matters a lot, especially to current taxpayers paying for irresponsible parents. If I am forced by government to check my "race", I demand that government require birthright status for bastards.

You're shaming the victim, not the perpetrators. The offspring is the one that gets hung with the label, and the offspring is the only party here that's innocent of all wrong doing.
