As a school nurse, I showed James Dobson's video on dating and sex last year to my 6th graders. The parents who previewed it were in shock, but they insisted that I show their kids this video. I plan to get this one, too. This year I will ask all parents to come out for the video preview of both. We (my husband is the counselor) present to the kids about the medical as well as the emotional aspects of early sexual exploration. When we do this to the parents too, they always express how much they appreciate the information...especially the emotional aspect of it. Most complain of the devastating effect sex had on them while dating in HS, never realizing it (the baggage from all the painful experiences) would go with them into their married lives. Any effort to get the parents involved is tough, but usually when they realize the seriousness of it, they are more apt to be involved with their kids at an age that is probably the most important stage in their life.

Amen...and God bless you and your husband for your efforts in this regard. Would to God that we had more school personnel like the two of you...all over the world.
If we keep working at it...we shall.
