To: Republic Rocker
Isn't there a tape delay to censor that stuff? I see Sean Penn blabbing... I hope he doesn't win.

Yes, but the burning question (no pun intended) is "What, if anything, did Andy Rooney have to say about his 'I won't pay $9 for a couple of laughs' comment"!!! Inquiring minds want to know!
To: Republic Rocker
Penn.

This assumes we know who's going to win in advance.
Someone will have to tell me: I'm watching "Braveheart" while I'm on duty. Since Mel Gibson was told not to show up, neither will I...

A good question to ask over
HERE.
To: Republic Rocker
I predict that the word "Passion" will be peppered throughout speeches by liberals twisting it into their PC vocabulary. For example:
Tim Robbins: "We must pursue world peace with "Passion."
Michael Moore: "Bush should step down with a "Passion."
To: Republic Rocker
By bets are on Robbins, but it wouldn't surprise me if Depp opens his pie-hole.
I'm also betting there will be a surprise big-mouth -- a major celebrity that kept their opinions (wisely) to themselves until now.
This IS an election year.

I heard Jamie Lee Curtis being interviewed on the radio outside of the theatre. Talking about "dark" movies, it moved her to mention the "dark" times that we are in due to the current administration here. We are losing the favorable opinions of the other countries around the world. -- I now need a new radio.

What's an "Oscar?"
To: Republic Rocker
No Oscar night for me. I'll pop in a DVD of The Searchers instead.

Robin Williams will say something incredibly innappropriate. When the audience gasps he will keep going, because he's a crazy lunatic and it will be so embarrassing.

Here's a bet I'm sure to win--
I will not hear or see any political speech -- or any other kind -- the the Oscars.
To: Republic Rocker
Big elephant just crushed Michael Moore during a rant in the opening! LOL
To: Republic Rocker
Well Tim Robbins has the first chance... will he use it?

I refuse to wath the show but isn't it ironic that the people who hate our President the most (robbins, penn the wife beater, baldwin and depp the coward) are all nominated?
I just hope for one thing....this years numbers for viewership are worse then last years' all time low ratings! :)
