SACRAMENTO (AP) - When Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger demanded in his State of the State speech that lawmakers produce significant workers' compensation savings by March 1, Senate leader John Burton grumbled that the deadline was unrealistic.
"You can do it," the Republican governor said with a smile as he turned toward Burton, who was sitting behind him during the Jan. 6 address.

Last year lawmakers enacted legislation that...should slash workers' comp insurance rates about 15 percent, mainly by limiting what pharmacies, doctors and outpatient clinics can charge in workers' compensation cases. However, the legislature left out the most costly group in the workmans comp problem. The lawyers.

Norm, you are indeed a trooper. California is toast, I move to Nevada in 16 days. Good luck, my friend! I lived in Ca since 1976.

Reno has been unindated with illgals, and the crime rate has tripled over the last 4 years. I am moving to Summerlin, Nevada...10 miles up the strip from Las Vegas proper. If you want to visit, send me a FReepmail.

Strike two, Arnold! Strike one was endorsing driver's licenses for illegals.
His leftist appointments were foul balls.
I guess the failure to "renegotiate" the power contracts was just a balk.
So what do we call the way the Thug Party rolled him on Prop 58?
