Mel doesn't have to sully himself to appear before his angry, hate-filled, hypocritical peers. The Passion's box office take alone after tonights Oscar presentation is answer enough to his hedonistic, shallow, limousine liberal, cash-loving critics.

Yeah, true, it's not worth it for Gibson. But as a conservative, I would've liked to see Hollywood show itself to be what they are.

It is so beautifully obvious. Gibson has shunned Hollywood, not the reverse. I sense that Gibson did not want the temple moneychangers to touch his Christ. To him, it would have been blasphemy.
