You ommitted placing the blame for the terrorists where it belongs.....right in the lap of our elected politicians in the federal offices, the federal courts and the White House.

They are the ones who have control of the budget, they make the decisions as to how much money each agency will receive. By having this authority they determine just how effective each agency will be.

President Bush talks a good story about protecting America. If he had just asked the Border Patrol administration how much money does it require for them to seal our borders for one year? How long will it take you to get everything in place to do it?

With those two questions, the funds and the permission to request assistance from senior administrators whenever another agency stepped in their way he could have had America safe and sound 120 days (my time estimation) after 911.

At the same time adopt Israels security system for the airlines and harbors. (This would require dumping Minetta, may I choose the height point?)

Instead he chose to fiddle fart around and we still do not have secure borders or harbors. If we do suffer another terrorist attack I will place the blame where it belongs and that will not be upon our enemies.

I do wish I could close my eyes to what is actually happening and blindly believe in thesde men we have guiding us to destruction. It certainly would make the journey much easier.
