Our children have been taught to be pc and the newspapers spout that nonsense daily, the TV hourly.

Yes, we have been taught to be "nice" and that discrimination is "bad". We would probably eat rotten food if we thought someone would be offended by our hold out. But discrimination is as much a G-d given right and self defense. Freedom to associate did not just mean political rallys, it means association with whom we wish and as a corrolary that we can discriminate with whom we wish. Boy, sounds like one of those mean conservative bigots huh. We have come a long way baby.

Mort Kondrake says that not permitting gay marriage is telling a million Americans that they can't do something the rest of us can do. What cr*p. Mort, white men can't jump, but we don't consider it discrimination until a basketball draft. Boys don't get to be Girl Scouts either. And everyone who wants to doesn't get a national audience to spout that BS.

No civil revolution in mind, but we better have some local stand up and be counted meetings before too long or we will multicultural Political Correct ourselves out of a d*mn good country.

You may have put yourself on the wrong side of the fence. My applause generally comes privately on the FReepmail. I do appreciate it though however it comes. Thank you

Most people don't want to discuss the truth. It's too horrible to contemplate.

Stating the obvious: It will be even more horrible to live through.

Just the idea of standing up alone and being counted at a local meeting is too much for most folks to bear because that would mean they would have to once again become an individual who can think and speak for themself.

No, people such as you and I, and many others on Free Republic, are on the right side of the fence, because we are able to think beyond what the politicians are doing to us today, and determine whether it is good for the country.

We have determined that massive illegal immigration will result in the death of the America we grew up in. And we are dead right.

That's the reason most of us here are horrified by what is going on. I had hoped we could do something about it, but I believe now that we can't.

Let me see if I read you correctly. You feel making Mexico, a third world, very corrupt nation of millions of uneducated, unskilled people would be a great thing for America and not an epic burden?

And some of us determined that well over 10 years ago. Looking out over the landscape currently, we were right then, and we are right now. Only the blind, stupid, or those with an agenda will not admit this.

sorry, I'm battling the king of all colds and sneezing to beat the band. Must have hit the wrong key. As you pointed out, I should have addressed my remarks about annexing Mexico to KC_for _Freedom!

Agenda 21 is the name you're looking for and the place that the Republican and Democrat leaderships are trying to get to as fast as possible.

They are very thankful that the common person cannot even consider such an idea, let alone believe that they have been betrayed by their elected leaders.

My Dad told me long ago that it was the mans job to look over the horizen for the dangers ahead while the ladies and older men took care of things closer to home.

I guess I was too sure that the older men in America would help the ladies see the political hazards. That they would take care of America while I went of to fight our foreign battles like so many other young men have done.

Just maybe I should have stayed home but would I have recognized the hazards as a young man. Would I have realized at a young age that my glorious Republican Party would betray their own country? Maybe, but I doubt it.

Now that I'm older and have been a much closer observer, it is so obvious I can't believe that everyone hasn't seen it.

Back in 1994, Kemp and Bennett teamed up with the leftists of the radical Hispanic lobby to campaign against California’s Proposition 187, a responsible initiative to deny welfare benefits to illegal aliens. Kemp and Bennett characterized Proposition 187 backers as bigots, racists and xenophobes.

The arrogant, SOB Jack Kemp is the absolute WORST kind of RINO the GOP has ever produced. The man is anything BUT a U.S. patriot -- he's a traitor.

OTOH, Bill Bennett is just a mislead idealist with a slight gambling problem.

Alien Nation by Peter Brimelow (sp) traces the immigration law of 1965 to the present situation. Politicians like Ted Kennedy were in the vanguard and loudly proclaimed that no great change in immigration would result, but he was wrong. Maybe he planned it all along, but I suspect it just tumbled along until it got tied up with "diversity" and multiculturalism and we could not fight it because they took the vocabulary away.

I was saying that if you want to actually discuss the issue, feel free to counter my posted words. Your bleatings on 'leftist fields' are meaningless BS.

And, -- that this is an interesting article on statehood for Mexican states:

You failed to answer my simple question, and instead you post a link to some article? Can you not answer the questions by yourself?
