I plan on seeing the movie today. I have seen shorts on TV. The portion where Satan is talking to Jesus in the garden. Satan suggests to Jesus that no one will remember or care.
I think Satan is very busy at this very moment fueling critic controversy. The latest controversy is that this film is too "bloody" graphic to be viewed. Satan would love to shut this movie down so that no one will remember or care and to keep His sacrifice hidden from view.

The gospels suggest that by his stripes we were healed. It's obvious to me that Satan doesn't want us to see those stripes.

I agree. I believe that in condemning this film, some people are behaving the very way they would have behaved over 2000 years ago when they cheered on the crucifixion. I am not speaking only of Jews. I see in the news that there are crowds outside theatre's protesting the film. I can almost imagine them dressed in biblical clothing standing on the via delarosa chanting slurs at Christ as he carried the cross. To me, it is very symbolic. I plan to see the film maybe tomorrow. I know it will be tough to watch because it will remind me of how unworthy I am.
