Really, when are people going to be ARRESTED for breaking the law? I think I'll strap on my six shooter and mosey on down to wal-mart, I need milk anyway. Think I'd be arrested?

everybody is just passing the buck. governors ask AGs, mayors ask governors, AGs ask courts, and no one is arrested. Not in Texas! The Travis County court house refused to issue marriage licenses to same sex couples. There was no need for the AG to arrest the county judge.

Because there is no "criminal" activity. Until a higher authority - i.e. court, legislature, or governor issues a cease and desist (and I think it has to be a court), the offending party is free to act.
There is no, "If you are convicted of marrying a same sex couple, you could be imprisoned for up to ...."
