My wife and I decided to do the carbo thing for Lent - give up the carbos! Also, as today is Friday, no meat for either of us today. I just finished a lunch of bean soup and tuna fish - out of the can. Then I come across this thread and feel like I would kill right now for a Philly cheese steak dripping with grease and onions! 8-)

Good points.....I remember watching the re-enactments of the Lincoln/Douglas debates on C-SPAM a few years ago and remembered that there were no microphones at that time....President Bush's talk to the 9/11 firefighters IS very akin to that! Good point!
