Momentum is building for the Global Day of Action against War and Occupation on March 20, 2004the one-year anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq. On that day people all around the globe will take to the streets to say YES to peace and NO to pre-emptive war and occupation. In communities large and small around the United States and across the globe, we will call for an end to the occupation of Iraq and Bush's militaristic foreign policies. March 20 will be the first time the world's "other superpower" will take center stage since Feb. 15.

MARCH 1-20: EYEWITNESS TO OCCUPATION SPEAKING TOUR Rick McDowell and Mary Trotochaud of the American Friends Service Committee have lived in Bagdhad since May 2003. In this powerful national speaking tour, they will convey the human cost of war and occupation based on their first-hand experiences
Perhaps Rick and Mary would care to have actual Iraqis who have lived in Iraq for many years prior to May, 2003 convey the human cost of living under Saddam's bloody regime based on their first-hand experiences.
Hey, how can you resist a bunch of adolescent morons with a name like that?
I'm preparing myself to be assimilated.
Mean while in a remote cave somewhere in Pakistan; Osama hums along in spirit, as he methodically makes plans for his next attack on us infidels, and the Palestinians continue their homicide bombing venture on innocent Israelis, as they protest the Israelis for wanting to build a wall around Israel.
And still, the choir sings on.

Well........NO.
But they do have feelings, and good intentions. Do they really need to know what they are doing?
They don't think so, because the truth doesn't seem to bother them in the least.
All hail,"The Politics of Meaning"!
It just feels sooooo good.
