Take it to the bank....Bush-Frist '04 The governor of Tennessee is a Democrat. I doubt the GOP wants to give up a Senate seat in a 51-48-1 Senate, so I can't see this happening.
But consider Zell Miller's seat, which almost a shoe-in for a Republican. Also Hollings in South Carolina. Those could be considered de-facto replacements....
