Well, for one thing you wouldn't do it alone - always have a few others with you. Makes it both fun AND safe.
Have you gotten involved in any of the Texas Chapters? Might be a nice Chapter get together type thing. Do this for a few hours, then hook up for a nice dinner and debriefing...

The North Texas Chapter doesn't seem real active, the Texas Board is almost totally Houston Area.
I could just tape them to the doors in my apartment complex?
