He went downhill right around the time that he split from his wife. I agree. The divorce was the final straw. He was given a pass for his type of satire under the cover of his marriage and being a "family man". After the divorce, he came across as a creepy, dirty old man (instead of a creepy, young man who was married).

I agree with you totally. His wife was the only thing that saved him, not even Robin who he uses shamelessly. He's a pig, plain and simple.

I agree. I listened to him for several years when I lived up North, and he was initally funny with his comments on politics, popular culture, and current events.
But then morning after morning it became a parade of degenerate guests in the studio with Howard saying "Take your top off..." Just creepy.
