You've got to be kidding me. You really think that this is worth electing John Kerry over?
Respectfully, I take the Second Amendment seriously. This is the reset button on the constitution. I'd vote for Nader to skew the system. Yes, John Kerry (57 varieties of pork sh*t) would be worse. However, my vote or lack of is a protest, no matter how minuscule, concerning my constitutional right to defend myself, family, and country (what fraction of it that has not been judicated away)
If the ban is renewed I will vote, if I happen by the polling place, if I don't feel too tired, if the line isn't too long .....
Cap, I believe that the AWB renewal is what's being discussed in the context of Bush getting smart and killing it.
Why would you reward a Republican president who would sign (yet another) bill into law that violates your Constitutional rights? If Bush signs the AWB, he will be a one termer like his daddy. His reelection is already on the ropes because of (fill in the blanks here - there are so many reasons).
You've got to be kidding me. You really think that sending the GOP a message that they own your vote, and are free to do whatever they want, regardless of whether or not it represents their consituency, and that they should rest confident in the knowledge that you will not only refuse to hold their feet to the fire, but will argue with anyone who does?
So who's kidding who?
Who cares? GW is out spending the Clintons and out democrating the democrats.
