In her math classes for instance, she hopscotches between geometry and fractions, but hasn't mastered multiplication and division yet.

Sounds to me like she's being victimized by an "integrated" approach to mathematics, along the lines of Mathland or some similar curriculum. Sad.

It's really sad, because math is my worst subject. I've tried over the years to keep all the kids from falling through the cracks on that subject, because of my experiences.
