Better yet, make them point to the part in the consitution that gives them the authority to even write a law involving firearms. In fact, too bad they aren't required to do that for every bill they write.

Personally, I'd just like to see infringement of RKBA listed as a high crime and treason and enforced.

In fact, too bad they aren't required to do that for every bill they write.

That was done in Colorado. A law was passed requiring bills to state the constitutional basis of their content. It was ignored. A conservative (a real consevative, before the rise of the neo's semi's and psuedo's) radio talk show personality (Tim Kern) tried to push and enforce the issue. He was ignored.
