OK...so the babysitter couldn't engage the safety when she was clearing the chamber. That is what Di-FI defines as a poorly designed gun.
You can't clear the chamber of a 1911 with the safety engaged. The 1911, the greatest fighting handgun design EVER, is therefore unsafe.

Of course most don't go to gun dealers. There's a record there that can be traced.
And repeat offenders(almost all are) get DENIED, and COULD be prosecuted.

She's gone from GUNS to BABY CRIBS,,OMG!!
To: IGOTMINE
She's going to equate a crib manufacturer, who is charged to design a safe place for a child, with firearms, which are SUPPOSED to be dangerous?

Re DIFI and Crib - APPLES AND ORANGES, DiFI. If my 1911 blew up in my hand because of a defect, I could still sue.

Watching this makes me feel so powerless. Her lies will go unanswered.
Negligently sold? Hmmm. I wonder if Di-Fi would be willing to waive soverign immunity? If a gun deal sells a gun after the buyer went through the NCIS check...who is responsbile? The dealer, or the government?

Do we know that the sniper was a prohibited person? Besides, the rifle was stolen from the dealer, IIRC

We all knew this would happen.. It was gonna be on this Senate bill. Now we'll have to see if the Reps in the House have any strength left.

"Why should firearms be exempt"
Because firearms are not children's toys or a tv set. They are MEANT to be dangerous!

I still want to know, re: her remarks about the suit against Bushmaster, was Mohammed a prohibited person? Was there any reason he would have been denied purchase?

Magazine Disconnects are DANGEROUS. And GUNS are ALWAYS loaded.
There's ALWAYS one in the chamber. I was taught that from the start.
