This movie has a POINT to the violence. And it has a message so much larger than just that aspect. Precisely. People need to get beyond the hype about the violence and the anti-semitism and just take this at face value. The message is strong and clear about what Christ endured for us for our eternal salvation because of His boundless love for all of us. Period.
