We get our genes from both parents, not just the mother.

Jesus was male. (I know, I know that is under dispute from the liberals and feminists too.) If he had DNA, he would have had a Y chromosome. That didn't come from Mary. Whom did he inherit it from? Could he not have received other physical features from the same source (his father)?
