Feb 25 2004 10:05PM Attempt to smuggle nuclear material out of Ukraine foiled KYIV. Feb 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukraine has arrested a minibus driver who was trying the smuggle a container of plutonium 239, cesium 137 and uranium to Hungary, Interior Minister Mykhailo Manin said on Wednesday.

The smuggler was "a former intelligence agent: in the former Soviet Union, he served in the Chief Intelligence Administration [the armed forces intelligence arm]," Manin told Interfax.

Put this together with the NORAD alert and Putin's glancing over his soviet shoulder and it spells trouble with a capital T.
