We'll never know for sure, but it sounds to me like someone told them to get the wheels on the ground yesterday and get the heck out of the plane, thus the hard landing. Just a guess.

Sounds like a good guess to me. :) It'll be next week before I get any insider information. I have to network it and that takes time. However, I should be able to find out something. I mean, 8 blown tires is unheard of, imho. :)
