I THOUGHT something was incongruent here.

Police said the man 's body was discovered by the Coast Guard floating in the river near the Roseton power plant. He was in full scuba gear.

Who started the rumor he had no SCUBA gear on? It was originally reported he was in full gear as well. This from the Underwater Times.

p.s. He may have not had on a wet suit, but he definitely had SCUBA gear on.

The Florida diver is the one who had a wetsuit on, but no gear.

The clues are in the fact that both the Hudson and Dania Beach dead divers were found without their tanks and gear or weight belts. Cause of death remains a mystery as is their reasons for diving where they were. No unattended boats or other means of private conveyance have been found.

I'm not sure where Sean got that info, his own investigations possibly? I seem to remember him stating somewhere he had been at both sites.
