I only offer my opinion, and my opinions are fluid depending on new information. I have always enjoyed Mansoor's views. It is just that the black market network is far too elaborate, expansive and Pakistan-nation oriented for Mansoor and Pervez and the Bhuttos to be ignorant of as claimed.
In my view, I can't really understand why our own intel missed it for the past 30 years. Maybe they knew something... Who knows. But if our intel did miss it entirely -- or if they let it fall by the wayside like they did the clues leading up to 911 -- than I do pity our poor nation. America has been forgetting to carry that big stick when it comes to the arab, muslim and asian world it seems.

We knew about it in the days of Zia but looked the other way because of the jihad against the Soviets.
Bush 1 slapped sanctions on Pakistan and even considered putting it on the list of terror sponsoring nations.
Clinton? Well, the west went googoogaagaa over Benazir Bhutto, all was forgiven, and the Taliban, under Pakistani tutelage swept to power.
Bush has played this brilliantly. First the nukes, now back to the hunt for osama and the war on AQ in that region. Makes sense now why the Afghan campaign was virtually stopped after Anaconda in spring 2002 and jihadis allowed safe havens in Pakistan.
Paki nukes had to come first.
