In Multnomah County, Oregon (the county Portland is in), a county commissioner arbitrarily decided to allow same-sex marriages starting tomorrow. The local 10PM news is showing a line of people is starting to form at the county offices already.

Apparently, the commissioner didn't even consult the other commissioners. He just made the decision. I don't know how anyone can recognize this as legal. This is no better than a frickin dictatorship!

He just made the decision.

I'm sorry, I meant she. The chair, Diane Linn, the uber-Liberal made the decision on her own. At least one commissioner, Lonnie Roberts, says it was a clandestine action and he was not consulted. Lonnie Roberts is the only member of the commission that could be considered somewhat conservative.
