Wow...would we need to go to this extent? Wouldn't we have plenty of other sites in the area to use for supply and troop coordination if needed? It seems like a hornet's nest but that might be a perfect smokescreen.

It just seemed to me more than coincidental that AQ was threatening to rescue their "brothers" at Gitmo, then we arrive very shortly thereafter in Haiti- directly across from Gitmo. No doubt we have legitimate concerns regarding Haiti, too, but the sudden deployment of troops there coupled with the EO about Cuba gave me reason to pause...
